協會簡介
美國中文學校協會為一個非營利性、非政治性、獨立的教育機構。本會於2025年7月由紐約長島邱琼雯會長發起籌備,黃菁齡,蘇郁琇兩位校長支持協辦,經大紐約區各所中文學校響應,共同創立。會員學校以大紐約區的紐約市及長島發源,歡迎並鼓舞效力於海外中文教育領域,貢獻於華語文的各區各校及個人皆可參加入會。美國中文學校協會理事會目前由大紐約地區理事組成,並設有會長一名,及副會長二名,財務副會長一名。於會長之下設行政,教務秘書,財務三位副會長, 學藝競賽, 文書, 活動,提名,及網站等五名理事職位。卸任創會會長副會長擔任榮譽資政顧問, 以協助本會堅守以奉獻為初衷,集結意願服務中文教育者,融合僑教及主流中文教育,繼續推廣並發揚華語文教育。

Brief History of ACSA
The American Chinese Schools Association, Inc. (ACSA) is a non-profit, non-political, independent educational organization. ACSA was founded in July 2025 by President Chiongwen Chiu of Long Island, New York, with support from Principals Judy Hwang and Nicole Su. With the support of Chinese schools in the greater New York area, the association was jointly established. Member schools are in New York City and Long Island. We welcome and encourage participation from schools and individuals in all regions who are dedicated to overseas Chinese education and contribute to the learning of Chinese language.
The ACSA Board of Directors is currently comprised of members from the Greater New York area. It has a President, two Vice Presidents, and a Vice President of Finance. Under the President, Vice Presidents, and Vice President of Finance, there are five other Board members. These five directors also include overseeing academic competitions, secretarial work, contests and community events, elections, and website management. The outgoing Founding President and Vice Presidents will continue to serve as Honorary Advisors to help the Association uphold its original mission of dedication and promotion of Chinese language educators, integrate overseas Chinese education with mainstream Chinese education, and continue to promote and advance Chinese language education.

To provide a platform for member schools and individual members to exchange experiences in Chinese language teaching and administration.

To assist member schools and individual members in obtaining the latest information on Chinese language education and opportunities for teacher training.

To recognize the role of traditional Chinese language, culture, and writing, and to enhance society's appreciation for Chinese language education.

Organize various talent competitions and other activities, actively encouraging participation from all walks of life and ethnic groups, thereby increasing students' interest in learning Chinese and providing more families with opportunities to showcase their achievements in Chinese language learning.

Encourage all schools to improve the quality of teaching and strive for excellence, achieving the goal of "it takes ten years to grow trees, a hundred years to cultivate people."

Unite all member schools and work together to safeguard the interests of the Association and its member schools.

Establish communication channels and collaboration opportunities with schools in all regions.
